Trails are as old as mankind.  They provide a pathway of exploration into new terrain and a sense of security in their well-worn nature.  Trails say to us:  Come and explore.  Others have done so before.

Trails are also sought out as recreational outlets.  Whether on foot or by other means, we enjoy travelling on trails.  They take us places; typically into nature; typically with people we love and care about.  They carry us away from our busy lives and back home to a deeper place within.

The Lake Chelan Valley is rich in such trail opportunities.   Throughout the valley – north shore, south shore, Manson and Chelan – a robust network of trails can be imagined that would connect us together.

The creation of such a network will elevate the quality of life for valley residents and provide an enticing amenity for valley visitors.

Trails are good for our health, good for our economy, and provide a lasting legacy for future generations to enjoy.

Join us.  We are the Lake Chelan Trails Alliance.
